The front page from today’s Journal

Just in case anyone hasn’t seen it yet, the People’s Assembly have made the papers (well, 1 anyway). Along with an interview with the supreme leader Mr Owen Jones, the article in The Journal (a local paper based here in the north east) also includes comments made by our very own Joan Hewitt and Mark Tyers.

The article is based on the Peoples Assembly Newcastle Rally held at the Black Swann Bar in the city earlier this year. Around 400 people attended the event with speakers including Owen Jones and Coalition Of Resistance National Secretary, Sam Fairbairn.

The article says that the Peoples Assembly in London has 2,500 registrations, in fact now it is near 4,000. You can read the piece in today’s Journal; available in local newsagents.

Below is the entire article kindly provided by the author Kate Proctor with help from Joan Hewitt:

I would if I could, to read the article online you have to subscribe (it’s £4.99) and I don’t read the Journal normally so I bought a copy (hence and pics).
